Whenever we travel to tea estates around the world, we are greeted with incredible hospitality. Visitors are offered freshly produced tea known as bungalow blend. It is so named because the cream of the day's crop is brought back to the manager's home, usually a bungalow, and then served to guests.
Our recipe is an award-winning combination of refreshing Kenyans, malty, rich Assams and light, zesty Ceylons. Not only did it win a Great Taste Award, but also the prestigious Christmas Blend competition. Competing against our tea tasting colleagues, he produced the "top of the pops". I've never heard the end of it!
