Assam tea is is our delicious second flush (best quality!) tea grown in North East India. It's known for its rich, malty and bold flavour. Perfect at anytime but especially with a hearty breakfast or as a base for chai! Available loose - put in the pot or use one of our tea inusers available online.
We recommend brewing for 3 mins to allow the malty flavour to develop (but your preference wins!). This tea is best drunk with milk or a dairy alternative. Enjoy!
Tea is good for you. Tea comes in a myriad of flavours. Tea is grown in beautiful places by passionate people. Tea brings us together. We want to champion tea for all its worth through our expertise, experience and award winning products so that people rebuild an emotional connection with tea again.
...but in a good way! Every year The Guild of Fine Foods runs The Great Taste Awards, a brilliant scheme for accrediting fine food and drink. Some categories, like tea and herbal beverages, need specialist tasters on the judging panel and that’s where we come in. We’ve also entered some of our teas and come back with 5 stars so far. But before you say anything, we can’t judge categories that our teas are entered in. That would be naughty!!!
OUR APPROACH TO PACKAGING
We are passionate about transparency and doing the right thing. One of our priorities is ensuring we are plastic free. Our pouches, tea 'pillows' and labels are commercially compostable and can be put in your food waste bin. Our postal packaging is recyclable. We're not perfect and will always strive to improve. We want warm glows when drinking a Two Spoons brew.
OUR TEA RANGE
We’ve developed a range of single origin and blended teas that we love. They are from places we’ve been to or people we know. We’ve targeted specific growing regions and seasons to showcase our teas’ best attributes. So, put the kettle on and enjoy!

Assam teais unique, it's as simple as that! It is known for its strength and malty flavour. The best quality is grown in June, July and August, often referred to as the 'second flush' It is often used by tea tasters to add depth and body to the blends they are creating. Our English Breakfast,BucksandBungaloware two great examples of that.
