Matcha is one of the best known teas to come out of Japan. Before harvesting, the leaf is covered with shade to encourage chlorophyll build up. Why? To make it greener. The leaf is ground into a very fine powder, the finer and greener the better!
Our matcha powder is from Japan and is perfect for using in smoothies or lattes. Because of its consistency it can also be used as an ingredient in baking, ice creams and much more!
We use around 2g or a level teaspoon of match per serving. It's definitely one to play around with.
