A gentle Chinese green tea with clarity and lift.
This green tea comes from Guizhou, in south-west China, a region known for producing clean, lightly fragrant green teas. It is a style known as Xiang Cha, meaning “fragrant tea”, valued for aroma and balance rather than strength.
The tea is made from tender green leaf and traditionally pan-fired. This halts oxidation quickly, preserving freshness and giving a soft, rounded cup with light vegetal notes and a clean finish. Delicate, but not thin.
Winner of a 2-Star Great Taste Award, recognised for its balance, purity, and drinkability.
In China, green tea is often brewed gently, with cooler water and shorter infusions. Loose leaf allows you to fine-tune the cup, adjusting strength and timing to suit your taste.
Packed in plastic-free, commercially compostable zip-lock pouches.
50g loose leaf tea. Around 25 cups.
How to infuse
Use 1 level teaspoon per cup.
Bring fresh water to the boil, then allow it to cool slightly.
Pour over the tea and infuse for 2 minutes.
Shorter for a lighter cup. A second gentle infusion is possible.
If you would like more detail, we have written a short guide on how to prepare green tea properly.
