If you like smokey tea, our Lapsang Souchong is the one for you.
The origin of Lapsang tea is as hazy as the smoke that provides its distinctive flavour. We like the earliest version of the story that took place in the Wuyi Mountains of Fujian in China. Villagers fearing attack from an invading army quickly dried and buried freshly plucked tea leaves. The resulting pine-smoked character proved popular among Dutch traders and so this iconic tea was born.
This Lapsang tea can be drunk with or without milk.
Our plastic free commercially compostable ziplock pouch contains 50 grams of loose leaf tea.
